Kara is a clinical psychologist and board approved supervisor with over 12 years’ experience across perinatal, clinical, forensic and educational settings, addressing a wide range of presenting issues. Kara is passionate about creating a warm, non-judgmental space to foster healing, empowerment and long-term wellness for her clients. Her approach emphasizes down-to-earth, compassionate care and holistic wellbeing, blending science and soul to ensure clients feel authentically seen and supported in alignment with their personal strengths, values and wellness goals.

As a mother of twins herself, Kara has a special interest in perinatal mental health, bringing a genuine understanding of the unique complexities and challenges across every stage of this journey. A registered practitioner with the Centre of Perinatal Excellence (COPE), Kara's current practice centres on supporting new, expectant and hopeful parents through the profound emotional transitions from pre-conception to parenthood, with a focus on nurturing connections, building coping skills and prioritising mental health in the perinatal period. She feels deeply privileged to walk alongside her clients as they find greater balance in their lives.
